The Airline Lady Vikings, Haughton Lady Bucs and Parkway Lady Panthers won District 1-5A games Tuesday.
Airline defeated Captain Shreve 9-1 at Shreve, Haughton routed Huntington 21-0 at Haughton and Parkway downed Byrd 10-6 at Byrd.
Elsewhere, Benton fell to 2024 non-select Division II runner-up North DeSoto 8-5 at Benton.
Plain swept a doubleheader against Woodlawn 14-1 and 15-0 at Plain Dealing.
At Captain Shreve, Taylor Smith pitched a three-hitter with 12 strikeouts and only one walk.
Seven Lady Vikings combined for 13 hits. Haley Whiteside went 4-for-4 with a home run, double and three RBI.
Ryan Hutchinson went 2-for-3 with two doubles. Emily Rachal went 2-for-4 with a double. Kemora Guidry had two hits.
Airline (13-5, 3-0) hosts Benton (16-4, 4-0) Thursday at 6 with the district lead on the line. Captain Shreve dropped to 10-10 and 2-3.
At Haughton, 11 Lady Bucs combined for 14 hits in the three-inning game.
Presley Yerby had a home run, double and four RBI. Saylor White hit a three-run home run.
Reese Mayfield had a triple, double and two RBI. Charlee Prothro had two hits, including a double, and two RBI. Brianna Benecke had a double and two RBI. Emersyn Kizzia had two RBI.
Clara Shaffer allowed one hit, struck out seven and walked two.
Haughton (10-12, 4-1) hosts Simsboro Thursday at 6.
At Parkway, Shelby Vaughn went 3-for-4 with three RBI. Dakota Howard went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI.
Ceniya Thompkins went 2-for-4 with a home run. Katie Giovengo had two hits, including a double. Madison Menard had two hits.
Giovengo pitched seven innings for the win.
Parkway (7-7, 1-3) hosts Captain Shreve Thursday at 6. Byrd dropped to 5-9 and 1-3.
At Benton, six Lady Tigers combined for seven hits. Maggie Landman went 2-for-3 with a double. Audrey Stark hit a two-run home run. Emersyn Disotell had a triple. Lainey Lafitte had a double.
The Lady Tigers allowed only four hits but were hurt by six errors. Bayleigh Moniz allowed three hits, struck out three and walked three in five innings. Karlea Tasby gave up one hit with no walks in two innings.
At Plain Dealing, Ravin West went 2-for-2 with three RBI in the first game. Katie Green had a triple and Sophie Green had a double.
Alayna Lambka allowed two hits, struck out five and walked two in three innings.
The Lady Lions took advantage of 19 walks in the second game. Sophia Green had a double. Nevaeh Fisk and Alainah Brooks had three RBI each.
Sophie Green allowed two hits, struck out four and walked two in three innings.
Plain Dealing improved to 6-5.
