The Benton Lady Tigers, Haughton Lady Bucs and Parkway Lady Panthers were winners Thursday.
Benton edged West Ouachita 3-2 at Benton, Haughton defeated Zwolle 4-0 at Zwolle and Parkway downed Weston 13-1 at Parkway.
Elsewhere, Airline fell to D’Arbonne Woods 12-0 at Airline.
At Benton, the Lady Tigers rallied from a 2-0 deficit after three innings. Benton scored one in the fourth and two in the fifth.
Dylan Defee’s one-out triple scored both runs in the fifth. She finished 2-for-3. Lainey Lafitte, Audrey Stark and Emma Holmes had singles earlier in the inning.
Starting pitcher Bayleigh Moniz had a double. She allowed five hits, struck out 10 and walked one in 6 1/3 innings. Karlea Tasby got the final two outs.
Benton improved to 24-4. West Ouachita dropped to 19-12.
At Zwolle, Charlee Prothro pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks.
Carsyn Kizzia went 3-for-4 with a triple. Kylie Small went 3-for-4. Saylor White had a double.
Haughton (16-14) visits Sterlington Friday at 5:30.
At Parkway, Katie Giovengo went 3-for-3 with a double in the five-inning game. Zoey Horn went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI.
Ceniya Thomas went 2-for-3 with three RBI. Addison McCall had three RBI. Macee Thompson allowed three hits. She struck out seven and walked one.
Parkway (11-9) visits Winnfield Friday at 5.
At Airline, the Lady Vikings dropped to 18-9. D’Arbonne Woods improved to 19-7.
