Five parish teams have qualified for the LHSAA state playoffs.
Official pairings were announced Wednesday.
Benton is the No. 2 seed and Airline No. 6 in non-select Division I. Both the Lady Tigers and Lady Vikings received first-round byes.
Benton (26-5) will host the winner between No. 15 Destrehan (20-12) and No. 18 Mandeville (18-7) in the second round.
Airline (19-10) will host the winner between No. 11 West Ouachita (19-14) and No. 22 Central Lafourche (22-6).
Haughton (18-15) is the No. 17 seed. The Lady Bucs will visit 1-5A foe and No. 16 Natchitoches Central (13-15) in the first round.
Parkway (14-9) is the No. 21 seed. The Lady Panthers will travel to Gonzalez to play No. 11 East Ascension (17-12) in the first round.
Plain Dealing (9-13-1) is the No. 17 seed in non-select Division IV. The Lady Lions will travel to Buras to play No. 17 South Plaquemines (7-9) in the first round.
First-round games must be played by Saturday.
Last year, Benton was the No. 23 seed. The Lady Tigers fell to No. 10 Sulphur 10-3 in the first round.
Airline was the No. 16 seed. The Lady Vikings lost to No. 16 Hahnville 10-6 in the first round.
Haughton is back in the playoffs after a one-year absence. Parkway is back after a two-year absence.
Plain Dealing was the No. 15 seed. The Lady Lions lost to No. 18 Pickering 15-4 in the first round.
