Geek’d Con Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Shreveport with Star-Studded Lineup

Geek’d Con, North Louisiana’s premier comic and pop culture convention, proudly announces its 10th anniversary event, set to take place August 22–24, 2025, at the Shreveport Convention Center. This milestone celebration, dubbed “Geek’d Con X,” promises an unforgettable weekend filled with celebrity appearances, cosplay, vendors, and once-in-a-lifetime fan experiences.

The event annually draws more than 10,000 fans through the Shreveport Convention Center over the three-day event. Some years have seen the attendance exceed 20,000 fans over the three days. This helps propel the event to an economic impact to the Shreveport-area annually measured in the millions

Celebrity Guests and Attractions

Among the exciting lineup is award-winning actor and former professional skateboarder Jason Lee, known for his roles in My Name Is EarlMallrats, and as the voice of Syndrome in The Incredibles

Other guests include Disney’s official voice of Mickey Mouse, Brett Iwan. Alan Ruck from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Succession. Art the Clown actor David Howard Thornton from the Terrifier film franchise. Barry Bostwick from The Rocky Horror Picture Show (celebrating its 50th anniversary this year). WWE Hall of Fame member Scott Steiner. As well as a massive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle celebration.

The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle film was released in 1990, making this the 35th anniversary. Geek’d Con will celebrate that milestone with a Shell-a-Bration, featuring four of the original Turtles actors (Brian Tochi, Robbie Rist, Kenn Scott, and Ernie Reyes, Jr.) appearing at the event. 

Fans can also look forward to appearances by stars from the Dragon Ball franchise and renowned comic book artists associated with titles like Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesThe SimpsonsBatman, and Tremors.
