This fall, believers across the Ark-La-Tex will have the opportunity to gather under one roof for a night of powerful worship, teaching, and unity as the Ignite Tour comes to Cypress Baptist Church in Benton this November.
The event promises to be more than just a concert — it’s a call for the Body of Christ to come together across denominational lines, lifting their voices in praise and being reminded of the life-changing truth of the Gospel.
For Cypress Baptist Church, which will host the event, the Ignite Tour represents a chance to see God’s people encouraged and renewed. Stacy Loe, Creative Team Associate at Cypress, said the church is thrilled to open its doors for this gathering.
“We love having the opportunity to worship with Christians from all over the area and from different denominations,” Loe said. “It’s like a glimpse of what it will be like in Heaven! We pray events like this will unify us as believers in Jesus and be an encouragement to everyone who attends.”
The message of the Gospel will remain front and center during the evening. Loe emphasized that Ignite is more than just music — it’s about pointing people to Christ.
“We hope attendees will leave understanding the message of the gospel — that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again,” she said. “Because of this, we can be forgiven and have eternal life. We also pray people will leave encouraged to share that message with others.”
Churches throughout the Shreveport-Bossier area and beyond are already purchasing group tickets so their congregations can sit and worship together, creating a powerful testimony of unity. Loe said this will be especially impactful for young people.
“When young people see believers of all ages and backgrounds come together to worship, it will move them to grow deeper in their faith and devotion to Christ,” she explained.
Cypress Baptist has a strong tradition of hosting major worship events and sees the Ignite Tour as another opportunity to bless the community.
“God has blessed our church with an incredible facility that allows us to host events like this,” Loe said. “Our mission is loving God and loving people — and this worship event gives us the perfect opportunity to do that.”
Tickets are now on sale, and organizers encourage churches, families, and individuals to invite friends who may be seeking hope and truth. Loe said that lives could be changed forever.
“We hope people will bring friends and family who are searching for more,” she said. “They’ll hear the Gospel, and it could be the night their lives are transformed.”
The Ignite Tour is expected to draw worshippers from across the Ark-La-Tex. Don’t miss this chance to be part of a night of worship, unity, and renewal.
