The Haughton Lady Bucs, Airline Lady Vikings and Benton Lady Tigers won matches Thursday night.
The Haughton and Airline matches went five sets.
The Lady Bucs defeated Captain Shreve in a marathon match. The first four sets were all decided by two points.
Haughton (4-1) lost the first set 25-23 and won the second 28-26. Shreve (3-3) took the third 25-23. The Lady Bucs evened the match with a 25-23 victory in the fourth and won it with a 15-9 victory in the fifth.
Maddie Polk had 19 kills, seven digs, four aces and one block. Laila Clinton had 18 assists, six kills, four digs and two aces.
Mackenzie Poole had 29 digs and six aces. Lexi Coulson had 17 assists, two kills and two aces.
Bella Hammond had eight kills and two blocks. Camille Branton had six kills and five digs.
Imyni Caston had four kills, three blocks and three assists. Bella Van had four kills.
Airline (3-2) won the first two sets against Loyola 25-19 and 25-10. The Lady Flyers (4-3) took the next two 25-23 and 25-16. The Lady Vikings won the fifth 15-9.
Benton (6-1) defeated Ouachita Parish 25-5, 25-10, 25-20.
Parkway (3-1) defeated Southwood 25-9, 25-8, 25-15 Wednesday. The Lady Panthers also defeated Caddo Magnet 25-14, 25-18, 30-28 Tuesday.
In other Tuesday matches, Benton defeated West Ouachita 25-13, 25-10, 25-11, Haughton fell to defending District 1-I champion and undefeated Byrd 25-16, 25-19, 25-17, Airline fell to Calvary Baptist 25-13, 25-13, 25-13 and Bossier (1-2) lost to undefeated Natchitoches Central 25-5, 25-6, 25-11.
Benton’s Madison Smith had nine kills, two blocks and two aces.
Arianna Barnes had 16 assists, two kills and one dig.
Fallon Phenix had five aces and two digs. Emma Holmes had six digs, one kill, one assist and one ace.
Haughton’s Polk had seven kills and two blocks. Clinton had six assists, three kills and two aces.
Poole had eight digs. Branton had two digs.
Byrd defeated North Caddo Thursday to improve to 7-0.
