The Bossier Parish Basketball Jamboree is set for Saturday at Plain Dealing.
Here is the schedule: Haughton vs. Parkway (girls 1 p.m., boys 2:15; Bossier vs. Airline (girls 3:30, boys 4:45); Plain Dealing vs. Benton (girls 6, boys 7:15).
Admission is $10.
The regular season begins next week.
In a girls opener Monday, Benton visits Ruston.
In openers Tuesday, Parkway visits Arcadia, Airline is at West Monroe, Haughton visits Homer and Plain Dealing is at North Webster.
Providence Classical Academy’s season is underway. The Lady Knights visit Evangel Christian Monday and host Converse Tuesday.
The Battle on the Hardwood Classic hosted by Parkway is Nov. 20 through 22. Bossier and Airline are among the teams competing.
In boys openers Tuesday, Haughton hosts Magnolia School of Excellence and Plain Dealing visits North Webster.
Airline opens Friday at Tyler, Texas. Bossier faces Evangel Christian in the Captain Shreve Classic Saturday, Nov. 2.
PCA’s season is underway. The Knights host Converse Tuesday.
The PCA boys and girls both have games against Castor in the Jimmy Stewart Memorial Tournament hosted by Doyline on Friday.
The girls play at 4 and the boys at 5:20.
