Holy Angels celebrated the miracle of Christ’s birth with its beloved annual Christmas Pageant on Thursday, December 18, 2025, welcoming families, friends, and community supporters to a day filled with worship, joy, and festive holiday spirit.
The program began at 11 a.m. inside the O’Brien Gym on the Holy Angels campus, where more than 150 residents, day program participants, and Holy Angels Academy students took the stage. Guests were treated to a heartwarming display of music, storytelling, and Christmas cheer as performers shared carols, Scripture-based narration, and messages centered on the hope and love of Jesus Christ.
The highlight of the event was the living nativity, a longtime tradition that brings the story of Christ’s birth to life. With reverence and celebration, performers portrayed Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, angels, and the Wise Men—reminding attendees of the true meaning of Christmas.
“This pageant is one of our most cherished traditions,” Holy Angels staff shared. “It allows our residents and participants to use their gifts to glorify God and to bless the community with the joy of the Christmas season.”
Following the performance, guests were invited to enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Holy Angels Culinary, continuing the spirit of fellowship and hospitality.
The celebration continued just down the road with Holy Angels’ Holiday Open House at the organization’s gift shop on Overton Brooks Road. Visitors browsed new and exclusive handmade Christmas items, sampled take-and-bake meals, and enjoyed 20% off all merchandise. Complimentary shuttle service made travel between events easy and festive.
More than just a holiday festivity, the annual pageant serves as a reminder of Holy Angels’ mission: to provide meaningful opportunities, independence, and community for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Holy Angels offers job training, day program activities, and residential services, while Holy Angels Academy supports students ages 2–21 with therapeutic and educational programs designed to help every individual reach their fullest potential.
As attendees departed, they carried with them the warmth of fellowship, the beauty of community, and the comforting reminder that Christmas is ultimately about the love God shared with the world through His Son.
Holy Angels welcomes the community to continue supporting its mission and to return next year for another Christmas celebration rooted in faith, love, and service.
