High school girls basketball: Providence Classical Academy routs Magnolia School of Excellence; Bossier, Plain Dealing fall

The Providence Classical Academy Lady Knights rolled past Magnolia School of Excellence 69-43 Tuesday night at Magnolia.

Emily Stephens hit four 3-pointers and led PCA (19-12) with 18 points.

Adilynn DeLoach scored 16. Lauren Hillman made three 3-pointers and scored 14.

Ella Grace Richardson added seven.

PCA hosts Pleasant Hill Wednesday..

In District 1-4A, Bossier dropped a tough 56-54 decision to defending champion Northwood at home. The Lady Kats fell to 7-10 overall and 0-2 in district. Northwood improved to 15-7 and 2-0.

Bossier hosts Loyola Thursday.

In a District 1-1A game, Plain Dealing battled hard but fell to 2025 non-select Division IV runner-up Arcadia 60-23 at home. Jakayla Douglas led the Lady Lions (9-12, 0-1) with 16 points.

The Lady Hornets improved to 17-6 and 2-0.

Plain Dealing visits Glenbrook Wednesday.
