Calling all Job Seekers to register for the NWLA Career and Job Fair

On March 3rd and 4th at the Bossier Civic Center, the Bossier Chamber of Com­merce, along with partners, is holding the Northwest Louisiana Career and Job Fair. March 3 is the dedicated day for job readiness, and March 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. is the job fair, which is the pre­mier veteran hiring event in the region.

Registration for job seekers is completely free. Available positions include full-time, part-time, contract, internship, and temporary jobs. Everything from entry-level positions to full-time and even remote positions are being actively offered by organizations at the job fair.

Roles being hired include estimator, superintendent, project manager, carpenter, laborer, financial advisor, teller, branch manager, warehouse associate, line cook, dish washer, van driver, room attendant, maintenance person, and guest service representative to name a few.

Over 200 positions are available by organizations at the job fair, with several offering interviews on-site for qualified candidates.

This event is presented by Northrop Grumman and brought to you by the Bossier Chamber and Louisiana Works along with partners the City of Bossier City, Department of Veterans Affairs, Buffalo Soldiers Shreveport Chapter, Women Veterans of the Ark-La-Tex, the American Job Center, Boots on the Ground, Goodwill, Dress for Success, Barksdale Air Force Base Military and Family Readiness Center, The Coordinating and Development Corporation, Goodwill Industries, Barksdale Air Force Base 2nd Bomb Wing, Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, City of Shreveport, KSLA Careers, CHRISTUS Health, Brentwood Hospital, and Willis Knighton Health.
