High school baseball: Parkway, Bossier win

The Parkway Panthers and Bossier Bearkats picked up wins Monday.

Parkway defeated D’Arbonne Woods 10-5 in a non-district game at Parkway. Bossier defeated Woodlawn 17-2 in the first of a two-game District 1-4A series at home.

At Parkway, Colby Donaldson went 4-for-4 with three RBI. Dallas Loche went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBI. 

Peyton Rayner had a double. Hunter Schneider and Brady Prine both had one hit and drew two walks.

Zach Plunkett scattered six hits, struck out six and walked three for the win.

Parkway (7-13) begins a two-game District 2-5A series against Evangel Christian Tuesday at Parkway at 6.

At Bossier’s field, pitcher Mike Thomas went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. Jojo Rachal went 3-for-4.

Bradley Simmons had a home run, double and two RBI. Jorge Taylor and Jaylen James had two hits each. Brayden Wright had a double and two RBI.

Thomas allowed three hits, struck out nine and walked one in the four-inning game.

Bossier (4-7, 3-0) and Woodlawn (1-10, 1-2) are scheduled to complete the series Thursday at Woodlawn at 6.
