(UPDATE 6/1/2026): DOTD advises motorists the nighttime lane closures as part of the ongoing Jimmie Davis Bridge (LA 511) project in Caddo & Bossier Parishes are still in effect.
The lane closures, which take place Monday-Saturday from 6:00pm – 6:00am, are expected to remain in place until approximately Saturday, June 20, 2026.
At that time, the lane closures will be removed while painting of the existing bridge is underway. Once painting is complete, the lane closures will resume to allow for the containment system to be removed.
DOTD will send additional updates when future lane closures resume for containment system removal.
