(UPDATE 6/15/2026): DOTD advises motorists that work will soon begin on the next location as part of the ongoing $1.6 million project to provide concrete pavement repairs on several routes in Caddo & Bossier Parishes.
Beginning Monday, June 22, 2026, weather permitting, the contractor will mobilize on LA 3032 eastbound (Shreveport-Barksdale Hwy) between the Red River Bridge and US 71 (Barksdale Blvd) in Bossier City.
Motorists should expect intermittent lane closures during non-peak travel times to allow construction activities to progress safely and efficiently. These repairs on LA 3036 are anticipated to take approx. one (1) week to complete, depending on weather conditions.
Drivers are reminded that work is still also being conducted on LA 3194 (MLK Drive) and LA 3036 (N. Common St) in Shreveport as part of this project.
