All OMV customer service centers will be CLOSED on Monday, September 14, 2026, for system modernization efforts and staff training.
All private companies contracted to do business with the OMV (Public Tag Agents and Auto Title Companies) will be unable to perform driver’s license, reinstatement, vehicle registration, and title transactions from Saturday, September 12, 2026, through Monday, September 14, 2026.
Additionally, OMV’s website, Expresslane.la.gov, and LA Wallet will experience intermittent outages from Saturday, September 12, 2026, through Sunday, September 13, 2026.
