The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) will close all customer service centers on Tuesday, September 15, to complete the transition from its antiquated mainframe to its new modernized system.
The conversion to Drive360 represents an unprecedented change for the OMV and a significant transformation in serving Louisiana residents. While the agency recognizes the impact of extending the closure, it greatly appreciates the public’s patience as the agency completes this important modernization effort.
Offices are scheduled to reopen and resume normal operations once additional validation and readiness reviews are completed. Updates will be provided as they become available, and residents are encouraged to check www.expresslane.la.gov.
