The City of Bossier City has lifted the precautionary boil advisory issued Friday, October 16, for customers along Sunflower Boulevard, Nottoway Place, Whitehall Drive, Rosedown Lane and Richland Place in Bossier City, Louisiana, 71112.

The advisory was issued following the relocation of a 10-inch water main near the intersection of Sunflower Boulevard and Highway 511 to accommodate the Highway 511 widening and bridge project.

Following completion of the necessary work, water samples were collected and submitted for testing to ensure the water meets applicable safety standards. The samples have cleared, and the boil advisory has been officially rescinded.

Affected customers may resume normal use of their water without boiling it first.

The City of Bossier City appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation while crews completed the necessary work and water quality testing.
