The Bossier Parish Highway Department will begin repairs to the walking trail at Tall
Timbers Park on Monday, October 26.
During the trail repair project, the walking trail will be closed, but the playground and
restrooms will remain open.
Beginning Monday, November 2, a contractor will sealcoat the parking lots serving the
playground and walking trail. Sealcoating helps protect pavement from water, sunlight,
oil, and other damage, extending the life of the asphalt.
To ensure the work is completed safely, the playground parking lot, playground,
restrooms, and walking trail will be closed from November 2 through November 8. All
facilities are expected to reopen on Monday, November 9.
