The City of Bossier City has lifted the precautionary boil advisory issued Monday, September 21, for a portion of its water system following a water main break near the intersection of Bonn Street and Central Park Drive.
The advisory affected customers located along:
- Central Park Drive
- Bonn Street
- Cambridge Street
- Lee Street
- Rodney Street
Bossier City maintenance crews responded to the 8-inch water main blowout, isolated the affected section of the water system and completed the necessary repairs.
Water samples were collected and submitted for testing. The samples have been cleared, and the boil advisory has officially been lifted.
Customers in the affected area may now resume normal use of their water without boiling it first.
