Bossier City is inviting residents and families to meet the public safety professionals who work every day to help keep the community safe during Public Safety in the Plaza on Saturday, October 3, at the East Bank District Festival Plaza.
The free, family-friendly event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will provide residents with an opportunity to interact with local public safety agencies, explore equipment, learn more about training and available resources, and get an up-close look at the work that takes place behind the scenes to protect the community.
Representatives from Bossier City Police, Bossier City Fire, the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office and other public safety agencies will be on hand to meet with residents and answer questions.
In addition to the public safety demonstrations and activities, attendees can enjoy live music from Adiel Starr from 10 a.m. to noon.
