While we had hoped to have better news, Bossier Schools will remain CLOSED for students and teachers Friday, January 30 out of an abundance of caution. Safety is our top priority and we cannot risk their return to school until the thick ice accumulation melts or can be removed from roofs, awnings, walkways, bus ramps and parking lots.
Tomorrow, our site-based leaders and 12-month employees will report for a work day to get our schools and centers ready for reopening Monday, February 2 and to de-ice and prepare for another round of frigid temperatures being forecast for the weekend. This is a work day at our schools and centers, and they will not be open for normal operations.
