Natosha Johnson, integrated student services program director at the Bossier Parish Community College Natchitoches campus, graduated as a member of Leadership Natchitoches Cohort 7 and was selected by her peers to serve as class representative and graduation speaker.
Facilitated by the Natchitoches Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Natchitoches is an eight-month leadership development program that prepares established community leaders to create positive change throughout Natchitoches Parish through engagement, collaboration and service. During the graduation ceremony, Johnson reflected on her experience in the program and its influence on her personal and professional leadership development.
As part of their community service project, cohort members collected donations to support the expansion of BPCC’s Cavalier Care Center at the Natchitoches Campus. The initiative reinforced the connection between addressing students’ basic needs and supporting their academic success while advancing the cohort’s commitment to community service.
Johnson’s completion of Leadership Natchitoches reflects her continued commitment to professional growth and community engagement. Her experience in the program further supports her work to strengthen student services and foster connections between BPCC and the Natchitoches community.
