Brian Marcinkus, Plant Manager of Calumet Shreveport, expressed gratitude for the dedication of first responders to community safety, stating, “Calumet is grateful for our first responders for their support of our communities. We’re thrilled to be able to return that support with supplies that make their jobs easier.”

These grants were made possible through the funds raised during the annual Calumet Open Charity Golf Tournament held in May 2023. In addition to the money generated from the golf outing, Calumet contributed additional funds to ensure that every application received could be awarded. This marks the second consecutive year that Calumet has provided grants to first responder agencies in the area.
