Chris Caldwell, MD, has joined the Willis Knighton Physician Network and the practice of Willis Knighton
Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Pierremont. He specializes in hip and knee replacement surgeries.
Following graduation from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Dr. Caldwell received his medical
degree from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine in Greenville. He completed a residency in
orthopedic surgery at LSU Health Shreveport and a fellowship in arthroplasty at the University of Texas at
Austin.
A lifetime University of North Carolina basketball fan, Dr. Caldwell enjoys watching college sports. He knows
the importance of well-functioning, pain-free joints for his patients and to those athletes who are passionate
about their sport. He is pleased to return to this area, where he has family ties and friendships.
Dr. Caldwell accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
