To help chronicle 50 years of the Independence Bowl, Louisiana artist Craig Routh was commissioned to produce a commemorative fine art painting featuring some of the great games, moments, players and coaches in Independence Bowl history and limited-edition prints of the painting are now on sale.

On the Docket – Fish ‘N Football
The Independence Bowl Foundation’s annual Fish ‘N Football is back at Provenance Town Center on Saturday, September 19, from 5-9 p.m. Live music from the Noah Grant Band will kick the event off at 5 p.m. before a watch party of the LSU vs. Ole Miss game on the big screen.
The event is free and open to the public, but Independence Bowl Foundation members get VIP treatment with a catered fish fry by Johnny’s Catfish & Seafood from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., complimentary drinks and access to an exclusive members-only section. There will be games, inflatables and fun for all ages, plus a cash bar for adult beverages for non-members. Fish ‘N Football is made possible by Carter Credit Union, Eagle Distributing, KSM Marketing Agency and Xfinity.
