Pardon our Progress, but it’s ALL about SAFETY. Bossier City Hall is undergoing construction with the purpose being to make City Hall safer for Citizens, Visitors and Employees. We live in a climate where we must be forever conscious and vigilant when it comes to Domestic Threats and danger to our communities. The construction underway at the Bossier City Hall will allow entry into City Hall at a single entry point. At that point visitors will be scanned for weapons and overall safety. There will also be City Marshals assigned for safety enforcement and oversight. During construction all visitors are to enter on the Beckett Street side of the building. This project will take several months and is scheduled for completion before the end of the year. Citizens are asked for their support and patience during the construction phase. Mayor Thomas Chandler says that he “apologizes for any inconvenience that the construction may cause but he is confident that the safety of our citizens is worth it.”
