The women of First Bossier came together Thursday, Dec. 4, for an evening filled with fellowship, joy and the true spirit of Christmas during the church’s annual Women’s Christmas Gathering. Held from 6 to 8 p.m. in the First Bossier Event Center, the celebration brought together women of all ages for a night devoted to connection, encouragement and Christ-centered holiday reflection.

The Event Center was transformed into a warm and inviting Christmas setting, complete with festive décor, glowing lights and beautifully arranged tables that set the tone for an evening focused on worship and community. Laughter and conversation filled the room as attendees enjoyed refreshments, shared stories and embraced the opportunity to step away from holiday busyness to focus on the Savior’s birth.

The gathering featured uplifting messages reminding attendees of the hope, peace and love found in Jesus Christ — especially meaningful as the holiday season invites believers to reflect on the miracle of His arrival. Through Scripture, song and shared fellowship, the evening pointed women back to the heart of Christmas.

Designed to strengthen relationships both within the church and among newcomers, the Women’s Christmas Gathering has become a beloved tradition at First Bossier. Many attendees said the event provides a refreshing pause during one of the busiest seasons of the year — a moment to recenter, celebrate God’s faithfulness and enjoy the unity of the church family.

As the evening concluded, attendees left encouraged, renewed and ready to carry the light of Christ into their homes, workplaces and communities throughout the Christmas season.
