Military members, first responders and public safety professionals were recognized for their service during the annual First Responders Luncheon held Monday, July 6, at The Stable in Bossier City.
The event brought together active-duty and retired members of the military, law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical personnel, dispatchers and other first responders for a community-wide show of appreciation for their dedication and sacrifice.
Hosted by attorney Ryan Gatti, the luncheon served as an opportunity to thank those who work each day to protect and serve Northwest Louisiana.
“We have the privilege of gathering with some of the most dedicated public servants in our community,” Gatti said.
Attendees enjoyed lunch while visiting with fellow first responders, military veterans and community supporters in an atmosphere focused on gratitude and recognition.
The annual luncheon celebrates the contributions made by the men and women who respond to emergencies, safeguard neighborhoods and serve both at home and abroad. Organizers said the event is intended to recognize not only the work these individuals perform but also the commitment they demonstrate to their communities every day.
Representatives from law enforcement agencies, fire departments, emergency medical services and military organizations from across the region attended the gathering, reinforcing the strong partnerships among public safety agencies throughout Northwest Louisiana.
The luncheon concluded with words of appreciation for those who continue to serve, recognizing the vital role first responders and military personnel play in protecting the lives and well-being of area residents.
