The Benton Tigers improved to 5-0 with a 9-3 victory over Glenbrook Monday at Benton.
Benton led 4-3 after five innings then broke the game open with five in the sixth. All five came with two outs. Case Jorden, Hayden Millen and Cole Snell had consecutive singles. Harrison Miller and Brody Turnipseed drew walks. Bud Burns then cleared the bases with a double to right field.
Millen went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Snell went 2-for-4.
Starter Jake Hutchison went two innings and allowed one hit. Beckett Moore also allowed just one hit in two innings. Tate Underwood pitched the final three. The trio combined for nine strikeouts.
