The David Bryant Memorial Basketball Classic is set for Saturday at Centenary College’s Gold Dome.
The event is named in honor of former Woodlawn and Plain Dealing Head Coach David Bryant, who passed away in 2021 from complications of COVID-19.
Bryant was inducted into the Louisiana Basketball Coaches Hall of Fame in 2019.
The event is hosted by the WinTheDay Foundation, which was founded by the late Ronnie Coker. The host school is Benton.
Admissions is $10.
There are seven games — four boys and three girls.

10 a.m. — North Webster vs. Plain Dealing (boys)
11:30 — Calvary Baptist vs. Plain Dealing (girls)
1 p.m. — North Caddo vs. Benton (boys)
2:30 — Bossier vs. Benton (girls)
4 — Airline vs. Woodlawn (boys)
5:30 — Captain Shreve vs. Woodlawn (girls)
7 —Bossier vs. Red River (boys)
Bossier was the runner-up in non-select Division II last season. Red River was a seminalist in non-select Division III.
Bossier is off to a 1-2 start with losses to defending non-select Division I state champion Zachary 53-50 in the City of Lights Thanksgiving Classic last week in Natchitoches.
Red River is 2-0 with victories over Franklin Parish 81-45 and Pineville 76-64.
