High school basketball: (Updated) Haughton girls improve to 15-0; Airline boys, girls win

The Haughton Lady Bucs remained undefeated with a 58-17 victory over Zwolle Friday in the Many tournament.

The Airline Lady Vikings bounced back from their first loss with a 63-22 victory over Ringgold at Airline.

Shaniya Perkins led eight Haughton players who scored with 19 points. Skylar Branch added 14 and Bella Hammond 13. The trio scored all of their points in the first three quarters.

Haughton (15-0) plays Pleasant Hill Saturday at 2 p.m. in the tournament.

At Airline, Nia Williams led the Lady Vikings (8-1) with 16 points. Ke’zyriah Sykes had 12 and Addison McDowell 10.

Airline doesn’t play again until Dec. 27 in the “Doc” Edwards Invitational.

In boys games Friday, Airline edged Ringgold 55-52 at Airline, Bossier fell to Captain Shreve 70-51 at Bossier and Benton lost to Booker T. Washington 57-30 in the Logansport tournament.

Jaydan Gladney led Airline (3-8) with 18 points. Isaiah added 12 and Eli Washington 11.

Gladney scored 20 in a loss to Ruston Tuesday.

At Bossier, Kerel Dean led the Bearkats (3-5) with 13 points.

Bossier trailed 30-24 at the half. Shreve took control in the third with a 22-10 run.

Captain Shreve improved to 12-4.

Benton dropped to 5-5.
