High school boys basketball: Haughton lone parish winner Tuesday; Mansfield snaps Benton’s win streak

The Haughton Bucs were the lone parish team to win Tuesday night.

Haughton improved to 4-5 with a 64-9 victory over outmanned Plain Dealing at Plain Dealing.

Elsewhere, Benton had its four-game winning streak snapped, falling to Mansfield 56-49 at Benton. The Tigers dropped to 4-2.

In other games, Airline lost to undefeated Minden 56-30 at Minden, Bossier dropped a 47-38 decision to Ouachita Parish in Monroe and Providence Classical Academy fell to Glenbrook 38-27 at PCA.

At Ouachita Parish, Kerel Dean led Bossier with 19 points. Kam Davenport added eight.

At Minden, Jaydan Gladney led the Airline with 14 points. Kevin White Jr. added nine.

Bossier (3-2) and Airline (2-6) are playing in the Parkway tournament this week.

Haughton is playing in the Cedar Creek tournament. Benton is playing in the ASH tournament.
