The Parkway and Providence Classical Academy boys teams won meets Saturday.
Parkway won the Clinton Arrow Invitational in Clinton, Miss., and PCA won the C.E. Byrd XC Invitational at the South Bossier Recreational Complex.
Eight Parkway runners finished in the top 15 in the Clinton meet.
Parkway’s Brennan Robin and Ben Ruliffson finished 1-2 in the 5K Black Division race. Robin set a course record with a time of 15 minutes, 24.31 seconds. The previous record of 15:40.48 was set by Farren Oberto of Pearl River, Miss., in 2023. Robin also shaved 10 seconds off his school-record time.
Ruliffson ran a 16:22.44. Airline’s Jayden Williams and Parkway’s Noah Lafitte finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in 16:26.09 and 16:35.37.
Parkway’s Aiden O’Nishea was seventh in 17:06.93. His teammates Landon Champagne, Javaria Flournoy, Isaac Ruliffson and Braxton Thomas finished 11th through 14th, respectively.
Parkway scored 23 points. Clinton finished second with 85. In the Black and Red Divisions combined, Parkway had 25 points and Clinton 100.
The race for the boys team title in the Byrd meet was tight.
PCA scored 54 points. Alexandria was second with 55. Byrd was third with 70.
PCA’s Baxter Carroll finished third in the 3-mile race in 16:34.10. Alexandria’s Clark Wright won in 16:08.20. Caddo Magnet’s Jack Pattillo was second in 16:12.10.
PCA’s Josh Pearce and Bossier’s Quinton Hodge finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in 16:54.10 and 16:58.70.
PCA’s Luke Langdon, Henry Carroll and Andrew Newton finished 15th, 16th and 18th, respectively.
PCA finished fourth in the girls division with 91 points. Byrd won with 21. Caddo Magnet was second with 62 and Alexandria third with 77.
Haughton’s Clara Hicks led parish runners with a fifth-place finish in 21:04.60. Byrd’s Anna Lake Watts won in 19:07.60.
PCA’s Kaylee Ivey was sixth in 21:09.10. Haughton’s Alyssa Giddings finished 11th. PCA’s Sailor Crump and Savannah Scates were 19th and 21st, respectively.

Parkway scored 58 points and PCA had 77.
Carroll finished second, covering the 3-mile course in 15:52.46. Isidore Newman’s Francis Lelong won in 15:45.46. Parkway’s Lafitte was third in 16:16.07. O’Nishea took sixth in 16:35.14.
Other parish runners in the top 20 were Airline’s Austin Bonney (13th), Parkway’s Isaac Ruliffson (14th), Parkway’s Thomas (16th) and PCA’s Pearce 20th.
Parkway finished second in the girls division with 76 points. Byrd won with 24.
Parkway’s Caylee Weaver finished fourth in 20:14.38. PCA’s Ivey and Haughton’s Hicks finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in 20:25.84 and 20:31.49.
Other parish runners in the top 20 were Parkway’s Kiara Jackson (10th), Parkway’s Khaliyla Jackson (11th) and Haughton’s Giddings 20th.
