The Parkway Lady Panthers improved to 3-0 with a 57-32 victory over Oakdale on the the final day of the Battle on the Hardwood Classic Saturday at Parkway.
Savannah Wilson and Dakota Howard led the two-time non-select Division I state champs with 20 and 19 points, respectively. Zara Baker added 12.
Wilson hit three 3-pointers and scored 13 in the first half as Parkway rolled to a 33-14 lead.
The Lady Panthers are playing in the City of Lights Tournament at Natchitoches Central Monday and Tuesday.
Also at Parkway, Airline defeated Lakeview 48-38, Plain Dealing fell to Southwood 60-20 and Bossier lost to Mansfield 50-31.
Airline trailed 19-6 after the first quarter, 27-19 at the half and 34-28 after three quarters. The Lady Vikings went on 20-4 run in the fourth to pull out the victory.
Ke’Zyriah Sykes led Airline (3-0) with 15 points. Addison McDowell added 11. Amari Mosley and Nia Williams had six each. Karliyah Woodard scored five.
Airline plays Oak Hill Monday at 1 p.m. in the Peabody tournament.
Plain Dealing standout Jakayla Douglas was injured in the first two minutes and didn’t return. But Head Coach Robby Lockwood said she should be fine. The Lady Lions dropped to 3-1.
Bossier fell to 2-2.
Elsewhere, Haughton improved to 4-0 with a 42-17 victory over Saline in the Saline tournament.
Skylar Branch led the Lady Bucs with 17 points. Shaniya Perkins added nine and Leigh Williamson eight.
Haughton is playing in the City of Lights tournament.
