Plain Dealing junior Jakayla Douglas has been named to the second team on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association’s girls Class 1A All-State team.
The 6-foot-2,Douglas averaged 27.2 points per game. She led the Lady Lions to a 16-15 record, including a first-round victory in the non-select Division IV playoffs.
