High school softball: Airline, Benton first-round games set for Friday; Plain Dealing plays Saturday

The Airline Lady Vikings and Benton Lady Tigers open the playoffs Friday.

In non-select Division I first-round games, No. 16 seed Airline (18-14) hosts No. 17 Hahnville (18-14), and No. 23 Benton (16-14) visits No. 10 Sulphur (18-9). 

Both games are set for 5 p.m.

No. 15 Plain Dealing (15-7) hosts No. 18 Pickering (8-14) in a non-select Division IV first-round game Saturday at 4.
