The Airline Lady Vikings and Haughton Lady Bucs won road games Monday.
Airline defeated West Ouachita 10-7, and Haughton downed Stanley 9-1.
At West Ouachita, Aleena Duran went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Madalynn Shortridge went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Kemora Guidry went 2-for-4.
Haley Whiteside hit a two-run home run in the top of the fifth to give Airline a 9-2 lead. Taylor Smith pitched five innings for the win.
Airline (6-1) is scheduled to visit North DeSoto Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
At Stanley, eight Lady Bucs combined for 13 hits. Brianna Benecke went 3-for-5 with a home run double. Clara Shaffer and Charlee Prothro both went 2-for-4 with a double.
Kylie Small had two hits, Brooklyn Ezernack had a triple. Dixie Williams had a double.
Williams scattered seven hits, struck out eight and walked four.
After an 0-5 start, the Lady Bucs have won three of their last four. Haughton is scheduled to visit D’Arbonne Woods Thursday at 6.
