The Benton Lady Tigers reached the 20-win mark Wednesday with a 9-4 victory over Cedar Creek in Ruston.
Ashle Promes went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Audrey Stark had a home run, triple and three RBI. Maggie Landman went 2-for-2.
Olivia Livers had two hits, including a double. Emersyn Disotell had two hits. Dylan Defee had a triple and two RBI.
Bayleigh Moniz struck out seven with no walks in six innings.
Benton (20-4), which is No. 2 in the non-select Division I power rankings according to GeauxPreps.com, is scheduled to host Captain Shreve Thursday.
In a District 1-5A game, Haughton fell to Natchitoches Central 5-0 in Natchitoches.
Dixie Williams had a double, the Lady Bucs’ only hit off Sydney Terrell.
