The Benton Lady Tigers split two games in the Stanley tournament Saturday.
Benton defeated Choudrant 11-0 and lost to Joaquin, Texas, 5-1.
Pitcher Bayleigh Moniz had a home run, double and six RBI against Choudrant. Her two-run double in the bottom of the sixth ended the game. Her three-run home run gave the Lady Tigers a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the third.
Moniz allowed only one hit with 10 strikeouts and no walks.
Makaylyn Lawrence had a hit and an RBI and drew a walk.
Audrey Stark had a double against Joaquin.
Benton (6-11) visits Zwolle Monday at 5.
