The Haughton boys and Benton girls won team titles in the abbreviated Bossier Parish Championships Thursday at Tiger Stadium.
Haughton scored 70 points. Benton was second with 64, Parkway third with 51 and Bossier fourth with 30.
Benton scored 79 points. Bossier was second with 60, Haughton third with 44 and Parkway fourth with 39.
Because of Thursday morning’s rain, no field events were held.
Boys
Haughton’s Kyron Turner and Bossier’s Quinton Hodge were double winners.
Turner won the 100 in 11.75 seconds and the 200 in 23.05.
Bossier’s Moses Brown was second in the 100 in 11.93. Haughton’s Jay’lon Abney was second in the 200 in 23.31.
Hodge won the 800 in 1:58.72 and the 1,600 in 4:39.20.
Parkway’s Javaria Flournoy finished second in the 800 in 1:59.19. Parkway’s Aiden O’Nishea was second in the 1,600 in 4:41.67.
Haughton’s Giovanni Musgrove took the 400 in 51.07. Benton’s Hunter Crosby was second in 51.45.
Benton’s Samuel Ivins and Brody Hutchison finished 1-2 in the 3,200 in 10:08.39 and 10:10.65, respectively.
Benton’s Antonio Wright won the 110 hurdles in 16.26. Haughton’s Jamarion Gray finished second in 16.66.
Gray and Wright finished 1-2 in the 300 hurdles in 41.91 and 44.22, respectively.
The relay winners were Airline (4X100), Parkway (4X200, 4X800) and Haughton (4X400).
Girls
Bossier’s Kaylyn Godfrey and Zamarion Carter and Benton’s Claire Allen were double winners.
Godfrey took the 100 in 12.59 and the 200 in 26.46.
Haughton’s Taylor Ivyanna was second in the 100 in 13.36 and the 200 in 26.78.
Carter won the 100 hurdles in 17.01 and the 300 hurdles in 49.58.
Bossier’s J’Diya Morris was second in the 100 hurdles in 17.18. Benton’s Aubrey Moscato finished second in the 300 in 50.78.
Allen captured the 1,600 in 5:49.10 and the 3,200 in 12:39.85.
Haughton’s Clara Hicks was second in the 1,600 in 6:07.78 and 3,200 in 13:25.68.
Parkway’s Destinee Lacour took the 400 in 1:00.33. Bossier’s Orianna Edwards was second in 1:02.16.
Benton’s Emerie Tanner won the 800 in 2:32.32. Parkway’s Sofia Bright was second in 2:32.70.
Benton won the 4X100, 4X200 and 4X800 relays. Bossier took the 4X400.
