Holy Angels invites the community to the 45th Annual TASTE: A Festival of Food and Art on
Thursday, September 24, from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at the Shreveport Convention Center. This signature
fundraising event brings together the best of local cuisine, art, live entertainment, and community spirit while
supporting Holy Angels’ mission of empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
A beloved Shreveport tradition, TASTE welcomes more than 1,500 guests each year for an unforgettable night of
exceptional food, original artwork, live music, and dancing. Every ticket purchased directly supports Holy Angels’
commitment to providing the life our residents deserve.
Tickets to TASTE are $100 per person and include:
Tastings from 40 of the area’s favorite restaurants and food vendors
- Holy Angels’ famous lasagna and catering specialties
- Howdy Homemade gourmet ice cream
- Complimentary beer, wine, and champagne from Champagne Charlie’s Bubble Bar
- Live entertainment by Windstorm
- Special performances by resident groups: Holy Angels Choir and Talent Show winners

Guests are encouraged to participate in the exclusive silent auction, featuring more than 200 exclusive items
from AngelWorks and from community donors. Bid on original one-of-a-kind artwork made by our Angels, as
well as art pieces from local artists, gifts, fine jewelry, experiences, and trips. At TASTE, guests will have the
opportunity to see the auction items in person and meet the talented resident artists behind the artwork.

Since its debut in September 1981, TASTE has flourished into a highly anticipated event, bringing the community
together each year to celebrate the incredible talents and achievements of the individuals served by Holy
Angels. The event has become a cherished tradition for all who attend.
Holy Angels provides individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities a path to self-fulfillment
through education, empowerment, spirituality, independence, and work. Comprehensive services include job
training and placement, day program activities, outpatient therapy and education, and residential care. The
organization provides 24/7 supportive care and individualized service plans for 185 residents. Expanding its
impact, Holy Angels recently opened Holy Angels Academy, serving children ages 2–21 with services that
support the whole student academically, clinically, and personally, through a fully integrated, year-round model
of care.
