A man killed when his vehicle was struck by another vehicle on Interstate 220 in north Shreveport during wet weather Thursday, July 3, 2025, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner’s office.
Robert Rougeau of Benton, 58, was eastbound on I-220 when his vehicle was struck near the westbound I-49 underpass. Mr. Rougeau was deceased at the scene and was pronounced at 5:26 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department, to which further inquiries should be directed.
An autopsy was ordered.
