The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, there will be intermittent lane closures on the northbound and southbound inside lanes of LA 3 (Benton Road) near its intersection with the new Walter O. Bigby Carriageway (WOBC) in Bossier City.

These lane closures are anticipated to be in place for approximately one week, and are necessary to allow the contractor for the recently constructed WOBC to perform work on the concrete barrier island located on Benton Road.

As a reminder, the WOBC project is being managed by the City of Bossier City. Inquiries about the project itself or related work should be directed to the city.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
