NEW ORLEANS– The Louisiana Military Department will host a groundbreaking ceremony on Oct. 8 for the Lafayette Readiness Center in Lafayette, Louisiana.
This multi-million-dollar project is designed to support training, administrative, and logistical requirements for the Louisiana National Guard. This project is complementary to other new readiness centers as it utilizes traditional elements of military construction while also integrating modern technology.
The new facility will support logistical and operational activities during training and all-hazard missions. This upgrade will bring a substantial improvement to the readiness of the Soldiers and units who conduct training in Lafayette.
