Community leaders, business owners, and residents gathered at the North Bossier Lunch Group’s monthly meeting on February 26 at the Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning (BPSTIL) to hear from candidates running in the upcoming Bossier City Council election. The event provided a platform for attendees to engage with local leaders and learn about their plans for the future of Bossier City.

The meeting, catered by BPSTIL’s Culinary Arts program, was an opportunity for residents to connect with candidates running for City Council At Large, District 4, and District 5. Each candidate presented their vision for growth, infrastructure, and economic development, outlining how they plan to address key issues facing the city.

With Bossier City experiencing continued growth, discussions at the meeting focused on infrastructure improvements, business development, and maintaining a high quality of life for residents. The event reinforced the importance of civic engagement and the role of local leadership in shaping the future of the city.

The goal of the North Bossier Lunch Group is to bring together men and women in the North Bossier community who want to stay informed and unite those interested in making a difference in their community. The group’s vision is to help North Bossier business owners, stakeholders, community leaders, and partners network with one another to discuss the growth, development, and future of North Bossier and Bossier City.
