Promotion day for Deputy

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington promoted a deputy to the rank of Corporal during a ceremony held this morning at the Bossier Parish Courthouse.

Deputy Tommy Jamison was promoted to the rank of Corporal and will continue to serve on the Courthouse Security Team. In this role, Corporal Jamison will assist in training courthouse security personnel on specialized equipment and will step into a leadership role for new officers.

Sheriff Whittington said, “Promotions like this recognize dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to serving the citizens of Bossier Parish. We appreciate the hard work and professionalism shown each day and look forward to continued success in this new role.”
