A lane closure will be in place on Shed Road in front of Meadow View Park beginning Monday, October 5, as the City of Bossier City begins repairs to the storm drain system along the Shed Road right of way.
The lane closure is expected to remain in place for up to three weeks, through October 26, while the contractor completes the necessary storm drain repairs. The project is being scheduled to work around Bossier Parish Schools’ fall break in an effort to minimize impacts on traffic.
Mobile red-light trailers and contractor-provided barricades will be used to provide continuous traffic control throughout the duration of the project.
Motorists traveling through the area are encouraged to use caution, follow posted traffic controls and allow additional time when traveling through the work zone.
The City of Bossier City appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews work to improve the area’s storm drainage infrastructure.
