Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington presented a $13,000 check to Louisiana
Easter Seals this morning as part of the proceeds from the annual “Kids Shoot for
Youth Charities” event. A total of $70,000 was raised this year, benefiting several
local nonprofit youth organizations that serve the community.
Sheriff Whittington expressed his appreciation for everyone who participated and
supported the charity shoot, noting that the funds help make a real difference in the
lives of children in need. He commented, “This event is about giving back to our
community and helping organizations like the Easter Seals continue their important
work.”
