DOTD advises motorists that US 71 in south Bossier Parish has been reopened to traffic following a train derailment that occurred on August 13, 2026.
Drivers are advised to use caution through the area, between the intersections of LA 154 and LA 527, as railroad crews continue to perform final tasks associated with the clean-up process.
