Willis Knighton Breast Centers are extending their hours in two locations to include Saturday appointments for
mammogram screenings during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Saturday appointments are available between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 3 and 17 at Willis Knighton Breast Center
Portico, 7845 Youree Drive, and Oct. 10 and 24 at Bossier Pavilion Imaging Center, 2449 Hospital Drive.
Appointments are available during routine hours Monday through Friday at both locations as well as at North,
South and Palmetto. Call 318-212-8550 to request an appointment. A physician referral is required. If you

Mammograms play a vital role in the early detection and diagnosis of breast cancer, the second most common
cancer among women. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists advises individuals at average
risk to begin screening mammography at age 40, while those with higher risk factors or a family history should
consult their healthcare provider about earlier screening. Early detection is key to improving treatment
outcomes.
