The Bossier Press-Tribune is saddened to report that Traci-Tierney Ponder, former Public Information Officer for Bossier City, has passed away following a lengthy illness.
Traci, remembered for her professionalism and dedication during her time as a city spokesperson, is survived by her husband, Deputy Jonathan Ponder, and their two young daughters. Jonathan Ponder is a former deputy with the Bossier Sheriff’s Office and currently serves as the Public Information Officer for the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office.
The Bossier Press-Tribune extends heartfelt condolences to the Ponder family during this difficult time. Traci’s contributions to the community and her legacy as a devoted wife, mother, and public servant will not be forgotten.
